a new Noixsound Drug: "TECHNOSHOCK TEN"... REXANTHONY THE NEW ALBUM 2002 The cult series Technoshock arrived at volume n.10, an important goal for concept albums that have been useful as a reference or indication for many producers and that became the soundtrack of the extreme youth. Just as a reminder, Technoshock volume 6, that is now being reissued in Usa, has been the forerunner of the genre hardcore . Today 2002, Technoshock is at the 10th act, with an album that engaged its author a lot: recordings in New York in order to offer the American atmosphere and the technological emphasis of the 28 bit; front cover designed in London by Mark Donald; arrangements, mixing and editing in Italy realized by the cult engineer Doris Norton; first publishing and primary exportation phase all over the world by the international dept. of Hitland. Rexanthony composed all the tracks, he played the keyboards, inserted his voice, programmed the sequences in his inseparable G4. Among the collaborators of this album, Molella, Alas and Zelvox. As the previous volumes, the new Technoshock differs from all the other productions of this kind.... it's an album made by a musician, by a young musician who is capable of melting his own harmony with his fascinating noise inventions since he said it already many times, that future is creative noise. Rexanthony is the Italian trendy artist, that though reckoning the very restricted set of techno consumers, sold more albums absolutely exceeding up to now the 540.000 copies in the world with transgressive and timbrically extreme albums. And so the adventure continues ...Rexanthony said: "I'll stop recording when one of my albums will reach the 2 Million copies... at that point I'll be one of the 'commercials'.... I hope that this will never happen". Technoshock Ten is available on CD, MC and double vinyl (only for D.J's). The first single drawn is 'Krimesquad'. Rexanthony's new production company (Hitland, Milan) already organized licences, sub editions, distributions, promotions and exportations. The new 2002 album surely traces the new lines for new techno-logic solutions/emotions. Rexanthony's new album develops in 12 tracks (including the sample track) with free-use samples. The opening, with the song OPENFIREX is simply great: turn on the engines and take off for the conquest of the night. REXACID is a jewel of micro-techno-minimal sound as only few are able to realise. KRIMESQUAD, very loved by the networks and (just as 'THE RAPTURE' drawn from the previous album) by young transgressive Germans (Cases Records), is the first single drawn from the album with very far-away versions (already various top licences in the world are realised for this song). XPLODTIME is a trance experiment with highly hypnotic keyboards in Teutonic style. RAVEX is Rexanthony's new way of describing the access to the new digital raves of the future. PSYCHODRUG composed by Rexanthony and Maurizio Molella is a hard invention in the hypno-trance area. PASTIK is one of the typical examples of Rexanthony's composition's variety....it practically is so varied that it has no beginning nor end, with non-repeating events. NARKOTRAFFIC... the most evident example of creative noise and of emotions ruled by speed changes and constant high tension. ILLEGALOVE is a trend composition with great arrangements, inharmonious melody perfectly melted with the musician's typical complex framework. INFECTED is the second experiment in minimal area... few destructive notes, all in he right place for a really dangerous emotion. TERRORIZED is the album's techno-dark moment and every one can interpret subjectively the emotions that this song can give. The work is concluded with the mythical REXAMPLE , always very original and this time each sample is equipped with a synthetic single note fit for sampling: caution ! we remind you that the last sample could be dangerous to be listened at continuously, therefore in case of induced hypnoses, lower the volume of the audio system. The CD version consists of two glassmasters: one with 12 tracks and the other with 13 of which the 13th track is a phantom track. This new album of Rexanthony is definable as a work in trendy area surely a milestone and surely a reference, seen the complexity of the structures, the technical perfection, the richness of the arrangements and the global creativity typical of its author. |
